Situated in the former grain store of a working farm on the Romney Marsh, a region in the South East of England, Martian Brewing Co. produces a variety of craft beers made from locally sourced ingredients. This includes malted barley grown on the farm and water from the farm’s artesian well, which draws water from an underground aquifer.
Initially, our beers will be sold in local pubs. As Martian Brewing Co. grows, we plan to open a taproom on the farm and explore the possibility of reopening many of the closed pubs across the Romney Marsh.
The brewery’s name is inspired by the affectionate term for the locals of the Romney Marsh. To continue the theme of visitors from another world, the logo features a flying saucer abducting one of the farm’s cows. The beers will also offer an otherworldly experience with names like ‘First Contact’ and ‘UFO,’ as well as experimental flavours that haven’t been seen on Earth before.
